Staffordshire University’s previous game titles head joins University of Esports as academic director

Professor Bobbie Fletcher, former head of division for games and visible consequences at Staffordshire College, has recently been appointed tutorial director at the new College or university of Esports.

The Faculty of Esports has been established up to give university levels targeted on the enterprise of esports from its campus at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, not significantly from Staffordshire’s London campus.

Professor Fletcher has much more than 20 yrs of practical experience in games education and assisted start the UK’s initially esports degree at Staffordshire University.

School of Esports has a partnership with the British Esports Affiliation, which has helped develop part of the diploma and presented Higher education of Esports with some guidance, but claims it won’t be teaching the courses. 

College or university of Esports founders, Professor Philip Wilson and David Thomson, have knowledge in better training and the sports activities business – it’s their very first endeavour in esports.

The initially College of Esports pupils will begin their courses later on this year, from September/Oct 2022.
